I'm having a heck of a time I'm hoping someone can help me out here.

    1. Having a main storage system (24 Bay SATA storage rackmount) < Done.
    2. Configuring ISPConfig with load balancing/HA on 5 Nodes < Hard time.
    3. Configuring all 5 Nodes (including the main server) to use the central storage. < completely lost.

I want a 6 system setup One master server for the interface etc and 5 Nodes to deliver the content. I want all 6 servers to use the 24 bay storage system i setup for everything. I could NFS mount on each system but unsure how to tell ISPConfig where to put all the 'customer website files, mail, and anything else I'm forgetting.

I'm running Debian 6 on every box.

I saw all the guides posted online but it seems they are for mirroring all the files. This is not what i want to do. I want to used a localized storage system that i can add more space too with another 24 bay rackmount if needed later in time.

Any help or direction would be great!

Thanks again for all your help!

Thats not what the guides do. The guides mirror only the emails and the website files, so they do exactly what you described as your desired setup.

Your setup is quite easy, just mount /var/www and /var/vmail as nfs drives on all nodes. Then install ispconfig on one node as master server and on all other nodes as slave. afterwards login to ispconfig, go to each slave and select that they are a mirror of the master server so that the configuration for all siest is the same on all servers. Take a look at the mirror guide, its all described there, the only difference is that you add additional mirrors.
