Hello everyone - this is my first board message. I hate to ask for help but i'm new to Postfix and I'm trying to solve an issue with mail delivery. I appreciate everyone's time and if someone helps me solve this issue i'll send them a token paypal $5 payment - I know its nothing much but it is a show of my appreciation.

This should be a simple solution for a Postfix admin. I want to limit the number of messages that I send per SMTP connection because some of the larger mail providers (Yahoo) recommend that I send a MAX of 20 emails per SMTP connection (;_ylt=AjfM2CC6HeSBKZ8ccwmpkWMIJHdG ) - how would I limit that in postfix?

I'm guessing its somewhere in the or files.

    Thanks in advance!

I set the smtp_destination_recipient_limit to 20 and I hope that will limit the number of emails delivered per SMTP connection to 20 - if anyone has any thoughts i'm all ears!:D
