    Hi Guys,

I recently installed the above and thought everything was going well.
I then discovered that i can not recieve emails for the domain / subdomains
I have since tried to troubleshoot and i think i've dug the hole deeper!
Originally i was getting auth errors but now "trying to fix it" i can no longer send emails from contact_page.php

I can see i have two 'initial' issues but have decided to stop trying to fix and ask for help before i go to far.

Thank you in advanced, you guys are awesome!

Sorry guys, i'm making the issue worse.
Can i get just a little direction please?
It seems that there are two configuration types database or file.
I think with the different documentation i've read (new and old), i may now have a blend of both and i'm getting errors left right and center.
The last document i read hinted that my TLS certificate may be incorrect but i believe that everything is in place for my certificates and if i start going down that path i may just make a mess of my complete ISPConfig.
It would be awesome if anyone could point me to what the latest documentation is, Taleman; i've done a search as you suggested (site:howtoforge.com e-mail sending) but changed 'sending' to 'recieving' as this is the main issue.
For the most part the documentation in the search is pre 2016 and the more recent posts really don't relate to my issue, i've stopped looking at older entries as this seems to make the issue worse. I'm 7 pages in on the search results and am just circling but not getting direction.

    Thanks.

Please read the page that @Taleman linked to, there you find a test script, run that test script as root user and post the result.

    Yep, sorry, files attached.
I had to shorten the mail.log - it looks like there is some activity...
    Any help is greatly apprectiated.
Also, i must add the lower part of the log would be the current dovecot and postfix conf settings

Sorry, guys do not respond to the files attached.
A colleague restored the server last night with a snapshot a week old, so i just lost a weeks work.
I will attempt to get back to where i was and then send the updated logs, thank you.

    Hi Guys,
Back again and with what looks like a completely different set of issues.
Currently dovecot and postfix are running but i don't have any emails sending or recieving. I'm also unable to sign into roundcube.

I've cut the log for mail down but you will see errors quite easily.

I'd like the users to be authenticated against the ISPConfig email user list but just don't know how to align it.
To me it currently looks like it can not see any users.

Then you should start a new thread with new topic.
Please use CODE tags when pasting listings and code.
The mail.txt shows fatal looking errors. Is the system installed properly? Does the user vmail exist? Check with
    Code:
    id vmail
and paste the result in CODE tags.

You are correct, the result is 'no such user' for all users.
This is probably because i have tried to solve the issue myself and broken the config completely.
How do i reset my config and start how ISPconfig would work best?

Yes the system is installed correctly, everything else is working perfectly.
I have multiple sites working, just no mail - my fault 100% just trying to fix it myself is the issue.

    Just to let you know:
I ran the 3.1.13p1 update and it fixed my configuration. - everything is working now.
