    I am not sure why, but mysql server shuts down a lot. When I restart mysqld, all the sites run fine for a while, then the server (mysqld) shuts down again. Is there a setting that needs adjusting? I do have several large databases. Here is a portion of the mysql log:

    Have you tried to fine-tune your my.cnf?
    Does your server have enough memory?

    Hi Falko,

    I resolved this. Yes, that was my initial concern, but the server is Raid 5 about 1.5 TB with 32 Gb Ram. I checked the CPU, Memory, etc. The server wasn't breaking a sweat. It was the /etc/my.cnf file. I added this line under [mysqld]:

    max_connections=100

    Resolved.

    Thank you
