Massive log files AFTER uninstall

    Hi there,

    I gave Ispconfig3 a go a little while back but decided it wasn't for me and attempted to remove it from my server.

    I followed some instructions on this site and deleted some folders but didn't run any uninstall scripts. I can't remember exactly what page the instructions were on.

    Now I have to delete a massive ispconfig.log file every few days before it eats through all my disk space.

    The log is full of this message:

    28.11.2010-11:39 - WARNING - DB::connect()-> mysql_select_db Unknown database 'dbispconfig3'

    I did indeed remove the above database but what is trying to access it?

    I'm a bit of a server n00b so please keep any advice simple for me ;)

    Cheers,
    Terry

    You will have to check the configuration files of the following services and remove all references to the ispconfig database:

    postfix
    dovecot or courier
    vlogger
    pure-ftpd
    mydns
