    hello,

    i spent a few hours last night trying to access the mail user account. I activated the option mailuser yet :
    https://www.nt.coolshots.be:81/tst2/

    does not work (the username and real username are both tst2),

    to access the admin page :
    https://www.nt.coolshots.be:81/

    does work,

    I use version 2.2.9 yet my server sits on a dmz so does nat to another address. yet for all purposes this seems to work properly.

    many thanks for any advise in this matter,

    best regards,

    Herwig

    You must use the email address for login and not the username.

    Is your POP3 server running? What's the output of
    Code:
    netstat -tap
    ?
    Did you enable the mailuser login for that web site in ISPConfig?

    ISPConfig User Log-in woes...

    I've had the same problems as DaRKNeSS666NL. I can an log in as administrator, but users cannot log in. If I use the username, I get the following error:

    Error: Could not get login password entry response

    If I use the email, I get the following error:

    Error: Unknown User.

    When I netstat -tap, I get:

    Users can never login with their username to the mailuser login, they can only login with their email address.

    Does pop3 works on your server when you login with webmail?

    No... It doesn't work, either. In fact, it wasn't working, and that's why I tried to log in to the user account.

    But I think I messed something up again because Mail isn't working any more receiving.
    Sending is working fine.

    Is it possible that I can't make an Linux backup with Norton Gosht. I think I am getting errors after I have set back my clean ISPConfig with my bootable (Hirens) cd with Ghost.

    I think the problem might be that Courier is using IPv6 instead of IPv4. Can you change that?

    I changed postfix to use only IP4, but can't figure out the Courier settings.

    The change didn't make a difference...

    The Courier settings are in the /etc/courier directory. What's in /etc/courier/authdaemonrc?

    (I've trimmed out the comments)

    deamons=5
    authdaemonvar=/var/run/courier/authdaemon
    DEBUG_LOGIN=1 (I just changed it from 0)
    DEFAULTOPTIONS=""

    That's it...

    That's all?
    What's the output of
    Code:
    ls -la /etc/courier
    ?
    Which distribution do you use?
