    Hello,

i am using Debian Squeeze with Postfix, Dovecot and Apache. I installed the server using the "Perfect Server" howtos for ispconfig version 3.0.5.3 .

The System works fine, but the Mailfilters don't work at all. I created a filter which should move all mails which contains "Test" in the subject to the folder "sievetest". (Screenshot of filter configuration is attached).

By sending a email with the subject "test" from an external system like gmail, or from a local account, the mail appears in the Inbox instead of "sievetest".

The filter is active in ispconfig and also in the roundcube ispconfig plugin.

This also applies to autresponder or custom sieve rules.

I figured out that the folder "/var/vmail/Mailfilters" is empty, so it looks like the sieverules will not be created.

The mail.err log is empty, there is also no error in mail.log:

    Code:

This filter has to be empty on your server as you use dovecot an not courier as imap/pop3 server. The mailfilter folder is for courier only.

If you want to see the sieve rules, take a look into the root folder of the mailbox: /var/vmail/domain.tld/user/ there you find the sieve filter rules and also the sieve error file in case your filter is incorrect.
