    I am having troubles with ISPConfig and mail. I installed ISPConfig a couple of months ago and now I started using the mail functionality. It seems like something is wrong in the configuration and I cannot rebuild the server to start from scratch.

    The error is:

    Feb 5 14:46:51 lglass maildrop[5608]: Temporary authentication failure.
    Feb  5 14:46:51 lglass postfix/pipe[5607]: 331C9C632A5: to=<[email protected]>, relay=maildrop, delay=0.06, delays=0.05/0.01/0/0.01, dsn=4.3.0, status=deferred (temporary failure. Command output: ERR: authdaemon: s_connect() failed: Permission denied /usr/bin/maildrop: Temporary authentication failure. )
    authlib seems to be working fine:

    [[email protected] ~]# echo "test" | authtest [email protected]
    Authentication succeeded.
         Authenticated: [email protected] (uid 5000, gid 5000)
        Home Directory: /var/vmail
               Maildir: /var/vmail/
                 Quota: 0
    Encrypted Password: $1somerealencryptedpassword.
    Cleartext Password: (none)
               Options: disableimap=n,disablepop3=n
    Any thoughts?

    Upgrade ISPConfig to the latest version forced the re-configuration of the service and solved the problem.
