Mailbox quota not working on some mailboxes

    I notice that on some mailboxes the mailquota does not work correctly. Users can receive emails even they are over quota.
    I'm not sure and I don't see there any logical reason, but it seems that this issue occur only on mailboxes where users do not use any standard mail client e.g. Outlook/ Thunderbird, but access only via Roundcube interface.
    In ISPConfig(3.1.11) I see used space: 1681.4766 MB Quota: 1000MB
    In maildirsize file I see wrong numbers.

    Any idea where to start troubleshoot ?

    Try to change the quota for this user (e.g. add one mb) and safe it does it start working then?

    I decreased the quota to 999MB, maildirsize has been recalculated, but it's wrong. Or maybe not. I just find out that this user has approx. 800MB in Trash and probably this is not counted in the limit. (this is just an assumption)
