I've studied the other threads having to do with this error but have not been able to solve this. The error is:

mail imapd: Error reading ACLs for : Invalid argument
I get the error if I log in via webmail. Everything seems to be working properly except I get this error.

I have made sure permissions on the roundcube folder/sub-folders and files are www-data:www-data. I have done the same for the /var/vmail folder except there permissions are vmail:vmail.

I do have whitelist/blacklist entries (have not removed them).

my setup is a ubuntu 10.04 lts perfect server with ispconfig 3. Using courier and roundcube.

Please, if possible, give me some ideas of what is wrong.

    Thank you, Eric

Are there any errors in your mail log (in the /var/log/ directory)?

Do you get errors as well when you log in with a "normal" email client such as Thunderbird or Outlook?

This message can be ignored as it does not cause any problems, it is caused by a whiteline in the courier subscribed folder files of the mailboxes. Ensure that you installed the latest ispconfig version which edits the files correctly without a whiteline.
