Mail alias or forward

    What's the difference? Why not use only mail forwarders?
    They are more flexible

    Ys, thats the difference. The target of an alias can only be a address on the same server while a forwarder can be used for external addresses as well.

    So, why not use only forwards?
    They archieve the same thing but forwarder are more flexible.

    Some providers use different limits for forards then for aliases in their hosting plans.
