Lost SSH session during ISPConfig upgrade

During an ISPConfig upgrade between versions 2.2.31 and 2.2.32, I lost the connection to the SSH session that was doing the upgrade.

Now I have no /root/ispconfig subdirectory, ISPConfig is not running, and /etc/init.d/ispconfig_server refuses to start.

Can anyone explain the process to recover the system? (Or do I have to reinstall from scratch?) Thanks in advance.

    Please run:

    mkdir /root/ispconfig

and then downlaod and unpack the latest ispconfig tar.gz again and run the setup script. ISPConfig will recognize your installation and does an update / restore of the missing parts.

Afterwards you might have to recreate the ssl certifivcate for the server on port 81 in case that you connect to ispconfig over https.

One hint: If you use the program "screen" on the shell to run the setup script the setup will not break in case that your session gets disconnected.
