    Now that I have installed munin and monit...this is from mail.log:

    Maybe ispconfig is not configured correctly?

    Thats all ok, no errors. These are normal Linux email delivery messages for status messages sent to the root user of yourserver.

    Good to know.

    So should I only look for ERROR and WARNING as part of the message, before I try to investigate it?

    Yes. Log messages are normal, the system just writes down what it is doing.
