I have a running ISPConfig as follows:
Server: server1.dummy-domain.com (Ubuntu 20.04.4 LTS (Focal Fossa)) ISPConfig 3.2.7p1

The server is reachable through its IP and uses a self-signed dummy certificate for dummy-domain.com
(dummy-domain.com doesn't exist and is not reachable through the internet)

Now I have added a client domain to that server, let's call it "client-domain.com"
I have set up DNS and http://client-domain.com is reachable through the internet.

Now I want to add a let's encrypt certificate for that domain, to be used on https, mail and FTP.

I have been looking through the forum and the internet to find instructions on how to create and use let's encrypt certificates with ISPConfig, but I have only found info pertaining to setting it up for the ISPConfig interface, and no detailed instructions about setting it up for a client domain.

What should be my steps to add a let's encrypt certificate to client-domain.com's services, https, mail and FTP?

P.S. there seems to be a bug on this forum, I am unable to edit the title of my post.

If your server is behind NAT, disable LE check for it and make sure necessary ports are forwarded to that server especially port 80 (http) and port 443 (https). For your domain, simply click LE SSL when creating / editing website client-domain.com. If creating LE failed, check ISPConfig General FAQ and LE FAQ to troubleshoot.
