    hello,
I'm trying to get jitsi-meet working @debian10 and ispconfig 3.15.p2.

I followed the instructions from https://www.howtoforge.de/anleitung...enzserver-mit-jitsi-meet-auf-ubuntu-1804-lts/ , of cause with a little bit of modification for debian 10 (openjdk 8 isn't anymore supported)

So this part went fine - jitsi-meet is installed, but when I create a new chat it disconnects me within 3 seconds and nobody can join my chat.

Is there something which has to be modified?

in ispconfig I've added a new vhost and created the lets encrypt certificates.

hope anyone can help, thank you.

I've never used jitsi-meet, so I can just give you some general suggestions:

Do you use a firewall, if yes, does it start to work when you temporarily switch the firewall aff. Might be that jitsi-meet switches to a different port and when that port is blocked, it will fail.

yes I use a firewall, and when I disable it for a moment, it also doesn't work.

if I look in the website logs there is this:
    Code:
    [Mon Apr 13 10:05:51.231775 2020] [proxy:error] [pid 26991] (111)Connection refused: AH00957: HTTP: attempt to connect to 127.0.0.1:5280 (localhost) failed
[Mon Apr 13 10:05:51.231852 2020] [proxy_http:error] [pid 26991] [client 84.115.152.210:50385] AH01114: HTTP: failed to make connection to backend: localhost, referer: https://talk.drakul.eu/neu
it seems it can't reach the xmpp server on 5280, but I have no idea where to start.

Does jitsi-meet write its own log file? Maybe there is some info in there.

    yes in /var/log/jitsi/jvb.log

    Code:

well, relativ simple, I had to renew the ssl certificates with:
    /usr/share/jitsi-meet/scripts/install-letsencrypt-cert.sh

and then I had to restart jicofo:
    service jicofo restart

    this was it :)
