Updated to the other day. when i go to create or modify a site everything works accept the Vhost configuration for Apache. Users are created, directory's are created but i get an error in the log stating

Action aborted, file is a symlink: /etc/httpd/conf/sites-available/

I have checked all of the folder permission and owners. The sym link is created in /etc/apache2/sites-enabled but that is it as far as Apache configuration.

Check the whole path down if any of the folders is a symlink.

Ok, this will not eork as ispconfig checks paths of config files for symlink attacks. What might eork is tht you remove the two symlinks in /etc/httpd/conf/, then copy the sites-* folders there and afterwards create symlinks in /etc/apache2/ two theße folders. So basically you echange the symlinks and folders.
