    Hello everyone,

    We're a few students from Denmark trying to configure an Ubuntu webserver / mailserver for a school-project. Everything works just fine, except our mailserver. We can log into our mailboxes on Roundcube Webmail, but we can't send or receive any mails.
    We've installed ISPConfig through the script: github.com/servisys/ispconfig_setup
    And followed every step in the guide: howtoforge_ispconfig-3-automated-installation-on-ubuntu-1804.pdf

    We have added a mail domain as follows:
    upload_2018-11-15_8-42-57.png

    And a few mailbox accounts:
    upload_2018-11-15_8-43-25.png

    And we've added email routing as follows (the destination IP is our mailserver):
    upload_2018-11-15_8-44-7.png

    Here is a copy/paste of our most recent maillog. We're pretty sure it has something to do with the SSL_accept error, because we keep getting it. We're using self-signed certificates:

    Nov 15 08:45:01 ispc postfix/smtps/smtpd[111183]: connect from localhost[::1]

    Please log into webmail and send an email to the same address that you used for webmail login, then check inbox in webmail after about 30 seconds. Did the email arrive? if not, please post the lines that got added to mail.log file for this sending attempt.

    The email domain you added in ispconfig is not identical with the server hostname and not listed anywhere in /etc/postfix/main.cf and /etc/mailname, right?

    Remove the # in front of the line that start with smtps and the line that starts with submission and restart postfix.

    Post the log from this send attempt. Did you send to the local mailbox or to a mailbox outside of the server?

    You added the domain as email domain (local) and as relay domain (external), this can not work. A domain is either local or remote, but not both. As you added mailboxes for that domain, I assume that you want to use them which means that it's a local domain, so you have to delete the domain from relay domains in ispconfig.
