    Hi,

At first, thank you for all wonderfull tutorials and softwares. At my first profit I will become a subscriber.

Im trying to install a VPS with DNS server only, using CentOS 6.2.

I did create the Container, removed all groups with yum, and proceed using Perfect Server howto.

All systems are working with no error messages, but when sendmail is removed, the changes in ISPConfig server aren't made in dns server.

There are some way to remove sendmail ?

BR from Brazil (sorry my english)

ISPConfig uses postfix and not sendmail as mailserver. Sendmail has to be removed or disabled before you install postfi as described in the centos perfect setup guide.

But sendmail is not related to dns. So if your dns changes are written or not is not related to the installation of sendmail.

Please see fAQ for debugging the ispconfig server process:

    Hi Till,

    Thanks for fast reply.

In this VPS I dont have any services but DNS. But I think I found the problem. When yum removes sendmail, it removes crontabs too.

Now I did removed sendmail and reinstalled crontabs. I think that all works fine now.

Just to check, crontabs is required, right??

    Thanks
