Interactive config update?

Is there a way to do an interactive configuration update when upgrading ispconfig? Right now I update the configs like this: I backup dirs I have custom configs for (postfix and courier for example), then I run and allow it to reconfigure services, and then I place back the directories I used before. This is a pretty intensive job and I'm curious if I can simplify it..

Ideally I'd like to see a config file diff so that I can choose to update certain files or not. Even a manual config file update would be a bit less demanding than what I currently do.

Thanks for any answer to my question,

    This is not (yet) possible.

Thanks for the response, falko. Any plans to integrate this? Even something as simple as "publish new configs in temporary dir" (e.g. /root/newconfig) would be extremely helpful.
