installing FFMPEG + extra's?

    hey all .

    i just wanted to know if there was anything specail i had to do to install the ffmpeg tools needed for youtube clone sites??

    if so can anyone direct me in the right direction,

    Are you looking to convert videos or just watch them? Either way, using Ubuntu I use the medibuntu repository and add vlc, ffmpeg, mplayer, and the win32 codecs...
