Hi, I am trying to find a way how I can have each domain in ispconfig3 have it's own icecast2 authentication / different settings.

Lets say I have two different absolute domains dj1.example.com and dj2.example.com created in ISPConfig3 -> Sites, what I want to do is have each of those two, be able to stream simultaneously, say the dj1.example.com on dj1.example.com:8000 while at the same time dj2 be able to stream on dj2.example.com:8000.

I would like some hints if anyone has some ideas.
This is an icecast2 on debian sheezy x64.
At first I may have to edit each xml through cli, latter I might build some interface inside ispconfig3.
    Thanks !
    George

You will need to use unique combination of IP + port.

Thanks for your reply, I finally made it work and it had to do with the icecast configuration xml file itself where you got to set 1 mount point for each station/dj, although at first I thought that I had to use a unique configuraiton for each station. So starting the server with a special conf xml which has all that information allows for multiple stations and that's it. It is not really a matter of unique domains or subdomains as I thought, at least for what I know about it at this point. Surely using different IP and port is also something one can do to take this further. Example use a different port for the main station and another port for the rest of the djs etc.

I used shoutcast many years ago and used same ip but different port number. It sure ate a lot of bandwidth though doing radio.
