Dear Sir, Recently plan to upgrade to Fibre broadband, but the free new modem given by the ISP doesn't allow to create port forwarding for some external ports. For example, when create port forwarding from external port 8080 to internal port 8080, get error "The external port cannot be 8080". Have been hosting ISPConfig3 in home office and use the default external and internal port 8080 to create port forwarding for accessing ISPConfig3 control panel, and the current modem used for ADSL broadband doesn't have this problem. Now it needs to replace the current modem with the new modem for Fibre broadband, so if want to access ISPConfig3 control panel without any problem, one solution is to update the default internal port 8080 to something else, say 8008, then under the new modem create port forwarding from external port 8008 to internal port 8008 (the new modem allow port forwarding from external port 8008). So my questions are 1) Is it a solution to update port 8080 to 8008? 2) how to update the port 8080 to 8008 for ISPConfig3? Thank you very much for your help.
