How to restore ispconfig in masterserver from backup over VNC?

My ispconfig masterserver is down and not accessible via SSH or FTP. I cant find reason why server down.
I want to try to restore ispconfig from from previous backup.. How to do it safely without damaging the database?

I cant install any back/res scripts now...
And it's not possible to update ispconfig via VNC (maybe this could solve the problem?)..

    For example:
The older backups are in the directory /var/backup/
How to find backup name (for example. ispconfig_2017-11-06_02-38) and restore files from this backup via VNC console to overvrite existing files in the same (master) server...
maybe somebody can write commands? I'm afraid to go wrong and ruin ...

The VNC screenshot seem to indicate network is down. My understanding is Ispconfig does not set up networking on the host. Try to find out from the VNC console why network is down.

Has the operating system been upgraded? Maybe the commands or settings need to be changed. Check the documents for the operating system used how to setup network and route. Also, use Internet search engines for <name of your operating system> network troubleshooting
Doing the troubleshooting may help point to the thing that is wrong. Try also googling for the error message you get from networking restart.
