Has anyone re-skinned ISPConfig and created a new frontend and used the API for the backend

Technically should be able to do it adding your own security. Was hoping to see an example of a different front end
Any url's would be appreciated. Thanks.

What prompted this was I was working on an issue for a customer whose ISP was using cpanel, but the interface was totally user friendly and not the standard cpanel so they must have been using cpanel api

In theory it is possible. But maybe it would be better to improve the ISPConfig UI and share your thoughts/improvements with the community, instead of writing a new panel :)

there was a user on here @smartyscripts, who made some very nice looking themes for ispconfig 3.1
not sure if they'll work unchanged on 3.2, but they do show what can be achieved.
unfortunately he disappeared from this site just over a year ago, and the links to download the themes from his site don't work.
some of us who had downloaded some of them managed to upload the zip files back to the thread for a few of them though.
