I have my configuration working in debian (ispconfig3) but I need to download email from pop server (gmail) only once every two days. I am unable to figure out where is the configuration file to change frequency with which the getmail conf file is implemented.

This is a cronjob of the "getmail" linux user and not a config file. The cronjob is valid for all getmail jobs, so if you change it, then it will affect all getmail jobs.

    Thanks

That was very helpful. I decided to use the templates and do a 'fetch' as a user for the particular email account. Now if I can manage the gmail error message it will be fine. It started choking after about 3,000 messages and hung up squirrelmail altogether.

Since this is for personal and family use only and I am not that "linux savy," I decided temporarily to just forward a copy of the mail to my account that I will name and backup on a quarterly basis - name1102, name1103, etc.

This will do my needs nicely. Thanks again. :)
