I have a Fedora Core box with proFtp installed. I can send stuff to and from my server from the outside world via the internet withou a problem. but inside the network, although I can see the server, and connect to it; the whole thing just freeze's up the minute I try to send a file to it. It seems to allow text files but disallow binaries including images.

I am using a windoze laptop to connect to it.

    Any clues?

Did you try both active and passive transfers in your FTP client?
