is it possible to create "global" accounts? I mean a single ftp account for all the websites of a client.

For example, lets imagine a client, with a domain: client.com
And the client has 3 sites: client.com, forum.client.com and blog.client.com
Is it possible to access all of them with a single ftp account?
What happens if you need suPHP? Can you activate suPHP for the 3 sites, but not with 3 different unix users?

No, you cant have a ftp account for all sites of a client. A ftp account is always for one site.

Ecah site has its own user, if you activate suphp or suexec, then the scripts run under the user of the website.
