I have been dissecting the tutorial Fedora 10 perfect server.

As before when I first tried these tutorials way back almost a year ago, I had very little experience with Fedora (and infact Linux as a whole).

Now I would like to know, is there anyway of changing when I go to install ISPConfig 2 (as this at the moment appears to work).

Is there anyway of changing where some of the users attributes appear?

Like I want all users ftp folder to work at: /ftp.

    Not this folder: web<autogenerateduserid>/ftp etc.

Is there anyway of saying making it work from my /ftp mount point please?

How would I maybe do this or upgrade to ISPConfig3? Just want to make sure my fabulous new system is as secure as possible under FC10 (not quite happy about upgrading to FC12 right now), as when I did so for FC11 I kept getting a load of errors all the time.

Not to do with this tutorial but generally I found Fedora 11 to be quite annoying, why develop a Linux system, for all hardware, and put all graphics stuff at the top spec for a desktop install?

Thats my resons for not upgrading.

But any help on moving these folders would be appreciated.

I wouldnt mind also setting anything into a cron script every so often, but just would like to get it working ideally!

PS God I cant believe ive got ISPconfig working, thanks ever so much for this great tutorial (now to try the dreaded mail server haha).

After doing the basic install of Fedora 10 perfect server, is this now ready the one from 2003 to allow outside access to use the mail server?

    I am a bit concerned about security.

This is not possible with ISPConfig 2.

You cannot upgrade to ISPConfig 3 as this is a totally different (i.e., rewritten from the ground) software.
