Sorry for the not giving enough info

    Hi

I'm having trouble sending out mail to addresses that are in my ISPCONFIG, but when i send mail to my yahoo email address it is delivered and other domains.. but strangely enough when i send the email it says sent... oh and by the way this only happens for domains that are created in my Nameservers and Mail obviously being hosted on another Service Provider..

    Current Setup is
    ISPCONFIG Server
    2 Nameservers

i also wanted to know which is better hosting DNS through ISPCONFIG or running an Independant Server??

Here's a copy of the Mail Log Maybe you'll find something that i cannot see!!

Your mail log looks ok. What's the output of
    Code:
    netstat -tap
? Is Maildir enabled or disabled under Management -> Server -> Settings -> Email?

That's totally up to you. If you want full control over DNS as well, then you should run your own DNS servers.

That's all ok. You can try this:

    Code:
    postconf -e 'home_mailbox = Maildir/'
    postconf -e 'mailbox_command ='
    /etc/init.d/postfix restart

Are you sure your domains' MX records are correct?

Not sure if I understand the problem correct!

When you send email to lets say a hotmail account, it ends up in the "bulk mail" map?

If so, you will need to create a SPF record for the domain!
It also helps if your revers DNS is set correct!

More and more providers are now checking the MX for a correct set SPF record!

    SPF Records!!

    Yes

I tried and my mail is still sitting in the bulk mail map!!

isn't there an alternative for SPF records?

Sending e-mail to a hotmail account

In the past i've contacted MicroSoft, because mail which was sent to Hotmail arrived in the Bulk folder and not in the Hotmal INBOX.

After answering the questions as mentioned here:
http://advertising.msn.com/adproducts/email_bulkdupe I had no problems anymore, which means that when i send email via my mailserver to a Hotmail account it will arrive in the Hotmail INBOX.
