    This will not work and does not make any sense as the mail user will never be inside the web quota. ISPConfig 3 uses virtual mail users and not linux users, virtual mailusers never fall under linux quota as they do not exist as linux users independantly where the mails are stored.

    Email Question

    Sorry, I did' not make the question right.
    this is what i want.

    This is easy to do, and will be part of web Quota.
    Is just a way of organizing the user.
    In this way if web quota is 1 gb and email quota was ilimited, email will stop arriving when webquota went to 0 mb.

    do you agree ?

    I explained above why this can not work. The directory does not matter for quotas, only the user matters.

    ok, i understand now, Sorry.

    Did you allready think how can this be realized ?
    like in Cpanel.

    Everytime that a user creates an email that space will be substacted from web quota.

    Example : 5 GB site.
    10 Emails 100mb each -> 1 GB .
    Web Quota is Now 4 gb only (Ispconfig master user controls this).
    I think this is important because there are clients that think webmail is for storing movies and pictures and i have no control. I dont want to give less than 1 gb for each mail account.

    This can not be realized with virtual users. If you want that, use ispconfig 2 and not 3 which uses system users.

    You have already full control over that. See mail quota in client settings.
