I have one harddrive and don't need more
    My partitioning is as follow:
    Disk /dev/sda: 300.0 GB, 300069052416 bytes
    255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 36481 cylinders
    Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes
Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
    /dev/sda1 * 1 18237 146488671 7 HPFS/NTFS
    /dev/sda2 18238 18250 104422+ 83 Linux
    /dev/sda3 18251 36481 146440507+ 8e Linux LVM
I want to install Gentoo on this hd to but don't now how to do it and need guidens.

    sda2 and sda3=Linux(Fedora 6)

This is my first installation with Gentoo ever ...
So hopefully I'm not messing up my hd realy good ...

Ok, now I have printed out the full Gentoo Linux x86 Handbook, good to have that in case of misshappens ...

So I need to repartition my sda3 partition then.
I do it from the Fedora6 installation with fdisk, I believe ...
Can I do it with fdisk ?
    Just do:
    fdisk -n
Am I on the wrong track ?

Then you can try with fdisk. But make a backup of your system before you do this. You might lose data!
