Deleting User Frofiles

    If i use the # userdel -r username command.. do i need to be in root directory to delete the profile or could it still work in home directory?
    and does it matter if i use a / after the username exsample: userdel -r username/

    It doesn't matter from what directory you run this command. Please don't use a / after the username.
