    If I'm reading the logs correctly, it would appear Postgrey is delaying mail longer than in the config file:

    file: /etc/default/postgrey contains a line:

    POSTGREY_OPTS="--inet=60000 --delay=460 --max-age=30"
    After the edit restarted both postgrey and postfix.

    selction of Mail log entry:

    postgrey[2734]: action=greylist, reason=early-retry (3176s missing)
    Am I correct in assuming postgrey is waiting for 3176 seconds until it will allow this email through?

    If so, I'm at a loss as to why the --delay=460 isn't being honoured?

    The POSTGREY_TEXT entry is being used properly.
