    Hi All,

I was looking through my server's error logs, because it has been crashing lately, and I noticed this error occuring constantly:

[client 127.0.0.1] Attempt to serve directory: /var/www/html/

Why is this appearing? I tried looking through httpd.conf and saw that this directory was setup as my document root, but I couldn't find anything to indicate how to turn this "on" or "off" so that the error won't occur.

Anyone have any tips? Thanks for your help...:)

Do you use ISPConfig on the server?

    Found the answer!

    Hi Falko,

Thanks for your reply, yes I am using ISPconfig, of course:)

In order to get rid of this error, simple "index.html" page needs to be included in the /var/www/html directory, so the server does attempt to "serve" the directory, which is off limits...
