Configure Ispconfig to run wordpress site without .htaccess

  1. Hi!
    I'm trying to run wordpress with pretty urls without using .htaccess for performance reasons.

    So, in "site options" tab I set Apache AllowOverride to "None".

    Then, in Apache Directives I added the original wordpress .htaccess content:

    # BEGIN WordPress
    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
    # END WordPress
    Doing this didn't work because the RewriteBase directive context is just for directory and .htaccess.

    Is there a proper anyway of accomplish this with ISPConfig 3? By the way, I'm using Apache 2.4.
    Thanks. regards.

    Wrap the directives that you copied from the .htaccess file into a directory directive and then paste it inti the apache directives field.
