I just uninstalled ISPConfig (/root/ispconfig/uninstall) from an Ubuntu 6.10 installation, only to find that previously-created Web site directories (in the /var/www directory) remained. I also found that the MySql databases for ISPConfig and the previously-created sites remained. My question now is: how do I delete all these and other leftovers, and start afresh?

    TIA for your help.

Did you tell the uninstaller to remove these objects? If not, it's clear why they are still there.

You can delete the databases with phpMyAdmin. The web sites can be deleted on the shell. Then open your main Apache configuration file and remove the line where Vhosts_ispconfig.conf is included.
