When I configure a slave in DNS Manager -> new Slave I notice that it didn't create the sec.domain.com file. Why?

    Thanks

Did you add the slave record on your slave server and not on your primary server? If you add a slave record on your primary server for a domain that exists as primary record on the same server, bind will stop working.

The cenario is, the master (primary) is on another server on the internet. In the ISPConfig server I only want to configure the slave.

In the ISPConfig server I have 2 primary domains and 3 slaves. The primary domains are all in another server in the internet, and were created without problems.

The strange thing is when I did chown -R named:named /var/lib/named
2 of the slaves were configured ok. It create the sec.domain1.com and sec.domain2.com, but the sec.domain3.com was never created. I tried some more times to create the slave domain3 but not successful (delete and create again). The file sec.domain3.com was never created.

    Any idea?

Any errors related to this in your logs? Is the master configured so that it allows zone transfers to your slave?
