I have searched the forum, but no answer is there to my question.

I am installing our school ISPConfig server. Due to our web services system, I have to do the pre-production install with a local IP. That local IP is not the final IP i have to setup in the server in production, when all the software and websites are installed.

My guess is that changing the IP to the final one is like this:

    i) change the IP in the network interfaces and host files
    b) change the IP in the postfix configuration
    c) change the IP in the ISPConfig web administrator, and the websites
in order to get the virtualhosts and name server working.

Please, could you tell me if I need more tweaking, and if there are missing steps in the above procedure?
