    Local server running behind Firewall
    Ubuntu 17.10
    4 core Intel i5
    16GB ram
    Did full install following instructions found on this site for Ubuntu 17.10.
    See attached htf_report.txt for details.
    One change I had to make is I can't have both port 80 and 8080 assigned, so I changed the port for the admin console to another port. Once the install is completed step for step (no errors at all), I get to to the login screen. Login and it returns to the same page. Can't log in. Checked apache2 error logs, nothing worth mentioning. I don't know where the error logs for ispconfig is, so I can't post.

    To clarify before I get asked, in apache2.conf:
    <Directory /var/www/>
    Options FollowSymLinks
    AllowOverride All
    Require all granted

    Are you sure that you used the correct password, the one that was shown during install? The password is not admin anymore, it is a random password shown by the installer or a custom password entered by you.

    I entered my own password instead of the randomly generated password and that is the one that I am using. The thing is it is not giving a error message or warning message. It is just simply refreshing the page.

    I don't know why it suddenly started working, but after a 3rd server restart it is suddenly working as it should. Strange... I guess it really was "Third time's a charm"
