The BSD license is a very liberal OpenSource License, much more liberal then e.g. GPL. The BSD License does not forbid that you make your own theme for ISPConfig. You can find the BSD License text in almost all code files from ispconfig. Here is a copy:

You may edit the code or extend the code, thats absolutely fine. Just ensure that you dont remove the copyright as stated by BSD license.

    Hello there!

I also want to add my own logo instead of the ispconfig logo, but i dont know how.
Because i canĀ“t locate the directory of the logo:
    which is 'themes/default/images/header_logo.png'
the same directory is shown in de database in the sys_theme table
i also cant find the directory by looking for the hidden folders in the terminal of linux

This thread is outdated and refers to ispconfig 3.0 and not 3.1. In ISPConfig 3.1, the logo is now in the sys_ini database table.

Do a thread search on Logo 3.1. There was a recent thread about it and how to use base64 utility to create a suitable copy of your logo by Jessie I think
