Ok, I am switching my server from behind my router, to be infront of it... so that it is wide open to the world... i have my reasons for this. my question though, is about the broadcast ip.

when i was behind my router, this was my settings:
    Code:
    # The loopback network interface
    auto lo
    iface lo inet loopback

    # The primary network interface
    #allow-hotplug eth0
    #iface eth0 inet dhcp
    auto eth1
    iface eth1 inet static
    address 192.168.0.180
    netmask 255.255.255.0
    network 192.168.0.0
    broadcast 192.168.0.255
    gateway 192.168.0.1
Now that i am infront, i have an external IP... so what should I put as the broadcast?
    Code:
    # The loopback network interface
    auto lo
    iface lo inet loopback

    # The primary network interface
    #allow-hotplug eth0
    #iface eth0 inet dhcp
    auto eth1
    iface eth1 inet static
    address 123.123.123.123 (outside ip)
    netmask 255.255.255.123 (subnet mask)
network 192.168.0.0 (Not a clue here either)
    broadcast 192.168.0.255 (NO IDEA!!)
    gateway 123.123.123.1 (default gateway?)
any help? i know it is prolly REALLY simple... but my brain is fried this morning.
