Hi experts - I am new to this forum and I hope you can help me.

I have installed BackupPC on a DNS-323 NAS machine. It's running an ARM version of Linux (gcc). I am trying to run BackupPC, doing pull-in backup from a PC using rsync and rsyncd (on the PC).
I have installed all required packages, including File-RsyncP-0.70.
rsync works fine – brings in files from the PC with no problems.

Installing File-RsyncP-0.70 (that is: File::RsyncP), I went through the make process, which completed fine.
But, when BackupPC tries to backup, it fails with the message:
"dump failed: File::RsyncP module doesn’t exist".
I then did: “perl -MCPAN -e ‘install File::RsyncP’ ” (namely, reinstalling File::RsyncP from the official web site). This was a very lengthy process, at the end of which I got the message:
"File::RsyncP is up to date (0.70)"
Now “perldoc File::RsyncP” works fine, looks normal.
But, backups (“dumps”) are _still_ failing with the message:
“dump failed: File::RsyncP module doesn’t exist”.
    What to do?
