Backup and restore on Debian 3.1 Sarge

    Backup

    Code:
    mkdir /root/backup
    cd /root/backup
    tar -pczf etc_backup.tar.gz /etc/
    tar -pczf home_admispconfig_backup.tar.gz /home/admispconfig/
    tar -pczf home_www_backup.tar.gz /home/www/
    tar -pczf root_ispconfig_backup.tar.gz /root/ispconfig/
    tar -pczf var_lib_named_etc_bind_backup.tar.gz /var/lib/named/etc/bind/
    tar -pczf var_mail_bacup.tar.gz /var/mail/
    tar -pczf var_uebimiau_domain.com_bacup.tar.gz /var/uebimiau_domain.com/ (Or your webmail temp folder)
    mysqldump -h localhost -u root -p[B]YourMySQLPassword[/B] -c --add-drop-table --add-locks --all --quick --lock-tables --all-databases > db_backup.sql
    Transfer backup-files with SSH(http://filezilla.sf.net)

    Restore
    Install system as described in guide (http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect_setup_debian_sarge)
    Transfer backup-files to /root/backup

    Code:
    /etc/init.d/ispconfig_server stop
    cd /
    tar zxvf /root/backup/etc_backup.tar.gz
    tar zxvf /root/backup/home_admispconfig_backup.tar.gz
    tar zxvf /root/backup/home_www_backup.tar.gz
    tar zxvf /root/backup/root_ispconfig_backup.tar.gz
    tar zxvf /root/backup/var_lib_named_etc_bind_backup.tar.gz
    tar zxvf /root/backup/var_mail_bacup.tar.gz
    tar zxvf /root/backup/var_uebimiau_domain.com_bacup.tar.gz (Or your webmail backup file)
    mysql -h localhost -u root - p[B]YourMySQLPassword[/B]  < /root/backup/db_backup.sql
    /etc/init.d/ispconfig_server start
    Have not tested restore. Comments appriciated.
