I'v read this http://goo.gl/va4TM with interest.
Is it ok to use install mod_evasive on an Debian ISPConfig3 server or are there known issues?

No, that should work without problems. :)

    Thanks Falko,
In the mean time I've implemented it successfully!

    Falko,
After having some experience with this module, i must say that i don't recommend it on an ISPConfig3 server.

If you do, lots of 403 errors will occur in many websites.
    I removed it again.

    Thank you Falko,
I will have a look at that and give it one more try.

    Hello Hans,

I have tried same setup, and also got a lot of 403 errors on my server.

Have you found a good configuration yet?

Else we must try experiment to a good configration with this module.
