Hi Everyone We have our web server hosting with some websites someones with ssl others without ssl. The server work with apache 2.4 and the server is managed with ISPConfig. I note this behavior: If I write in the browser https://site.com. the browser (Firefox, chromium based browsers) show this: "The connection is not private Attackers may be trying to steal your information from site.com. (for example, passwords, messages or credit cards)" We note the issue happen when the site have a SSL, because if we try with a site wihtout SSL the server respond correctly and drop the dot of the FQDN. Of course this behavior is not exclusive to our server, because we have done tests with other international domains that have a SSL certificate and the error happens and the error message that is received is "Bad Request - Invalid Hostname". In other domain the issue not happen and redirect the url correctly for example https://google.com. and drop the dot of the FQDN. So we think there could be a bad configuration on the apache server, or a htaccess wordpress misconfiguration, or maybe is normal behavior of the https protocol or something like that. We try to see the logs of the server with tail -f to see what can be the error that is happen, but not get anything that could help us. Then we whant to ask to the forum if someone had have a behavior like that with Apache server and we we whant to know if is posible to solve.
