    hi all
    first sorry for my english,

I sufully installed ISPConfig on Debian Etch, but I want give rails support... all install process was fine.
Now testing my server I figure out that when I make a change in some script need restart the fcgi instance.

the problem is that fcgi instance is started by www-data, and I can't kill as normal web user.

somebody knows how to do that instance do started by the admin user for this site

As far as I know, you can run fcgi together with suphp, this will make the fcgiprocess run under the admin user of the website.

I talked about suphp and not suexec and php-cgi. Additionally, as you installed suexec, you enabled suexec in ispconfig management > server > settings?
