Adding secondary DNS with ispconfig

    The guide should work for wheezy as well.

    Run Tools > Resync > dns in ispconfig.

    I've to run the Resync on the secondary node, or on the primary?

    The secondary node has no ispconfig interface when you followed the guide, so you could have done this only on the primary node. If you would login to the interface of the secondary node, then all actions that you do there will cause a conflict with the primary and the replication between the servers will get stopped.

    For DNS: Yes. For apache and mail: No

    If you want to setup a cluster that replicates all services, then this has to be done before you add the first website or mail domain on the server. Such a setup is described here: http://www.howtoforge.com/installin...tabase-cluster-on-debian-6.0-with-ispconfig-3



    No. All you have to do is to select under System > server services that the secondary server is a mirror of the first server and then run the resync tool.
