Before using your howto's I was used to just adding
as a sub domain. I bought the manual for about 7-8 bucks US. But I am still having some problems getting this to work.
I know you would like to keep this a private issue so people will continue to buy the book so pleas email me if you can.

I am trying to setup my 2 yr old daughters web site.
I have I am used to just adding another directory to the site and typing in But I am not quite understanding how to set it up through ispconfig3. I am reading different things and it is a bit confusing to me.

Just create that directory with your FTP client and upload your daughter's web site to it.

Just create a new web site from the control panel and in the site title put

That will create a new site by that name where you can create a new FTP user to put the files.

Don't forget to create dns records for the new subdomain.
