    Hi !

I'm running an ispconfig 3.0.5 server with 15 domains since some times.

For security, I would like to add now a mirror server but I've just seen in the manual that the server config in the case is not the same than for a single server configuration.

So I'm looking for a way to convert my single config to a master / mirror config ( without having to reinstall all the master )

Is someone able to give me some docs or ideas to acheave this ?

It is possible, but you will have to do some extra steps to migrate the existing data between the servers. The base setup is this:

as you have a single server setup already, you will have to install the second server now, install ispconfig in expert mode and attach it to the master. In the next step, you will have to configure mysql master/master replication between the servers and the file system sync and then sync all config files (espeecially users and groups of websites from /etc/passwd, shadow and group files and the content of the ispconfig mysql database from master to the new mirror manually, as ispconfig will copy over only chnages to the new server.
