Hi, Our clients are reporting that when they send email to addresses outside their domain, they recieve a 550 Error. Recieving email seems to be functioning correctly.
The Server was configured according to the ISPConfig Fedora 5 Perfect Setup tutorial.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have a full text error message?

Here is the complete error from the log
    Jun 2 16:39:36 localhost postfix/smtpd[1566]: NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from d221-69-174.commercial.cgocable.net[]: 550 <[email protected]>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in local recipient table; from=<[email protected]> to=<[email protected]> proto=ESMTP helo=<sendingmachine>

    I noticed this as well

    Jun 2 15:51:25 localhost sendmail[30623]: STARTTLS=client, relay=[], version=TLSv1/SSLv3, verify=FAIL, cipher=DHE-RSA-AES256-SHA, bits=256/256

Im not sure if the 'sendmail' in the log is refering to an action or the application sendmail which should not be running.

    Thanks for any help,

The receiving mail server doesn't know the recipient.

This is ok. Postfix has a binary called sendmail for compatibility reasons.
